This dark heart of mine

For my love Samantha

Her life so strong
yet so very fragile
Was a precious gift to me
from God almighty himself  

She was sent to this earth
in the form of an angle
Her celestic beauty
only compliments herself          

She looked in my eyes
as very few have
And saw something new
that no other could find          

with this new thing
that she had found
She reached in and stole
this dark heart of mine      

She told me she loved me
And would never let me go
With these words I gave her the keys
To this dark heart of mine  

No death, no life
No argument or dispute
No human or being
will ever split us apart  

I love every part of her
the way the sunlight hits her hair
to the way her eyes sparkle at night
and for this I live on  

when I look into her eyes
I see the tears shes cried
for many has tried to harm her
but as for me I will not  

the words are her inspiration
and the desire she has granted me
to love her for the rest of my life
and this I promise I will do  

for thick and thin we will go
through this adventure called life
though battles will rise up
Together we will overcome life

Author's Note

as forced as this poem was. And it def was forced I hope you all criticize this from the aspect that we just mended a portion of our relationship.i had honestly thought I had lost her and was given the inspiration to write this poem. I love her so much and just wants her to realize that. I also want her to know that I'm sorry for hurting her. I know she has forgiven me but this is a public view that I am sorry and that it wont happen again
