Blood and Booze

Blood and Booze

A Poem by Griffin
"

I wrote this awhile ago. Feedback is appreciated.

"

Ice water drips

down the back

of my neck

It washes

the pain away

my salvation

no where

to be

found

I fall into the dark

as pieces

of glass

shatter

around my head

in a false

halo

The pain

of you

and me

is to great

for one soul

All things wrong

have crumbled

my surroundings

my falsehoods

simply paper

hearts

intertwined

between

the blood

and wine

We sink lower

and lower

and I feel

nothing

The world

goes numb

as I sink

into a

comatose state

We feel

and love

and

hate

and right now

I

hate

you

But whats new?

The end

of nothing

as walls

fall

and barriers

break

leaving my fragile wings

broken

and bruised

as I try to stand

I cry

There is nothing left

here

 Nothing but

blood

and booze.
