Before I Say Goodbye

Before I Say Goodbye

A Poem by GuardianZack

Goodbye, falling from the clouds
Crashing into the sky and
All seems faint and soft the glow
Of your eyes touching the press against
My heart the drop of fingertips
Tears ran down your face

I am alive.

Broken wings lift me up
Light pouring in like rain
On the edge of the driveway
Breaking the clouds dampens
The sunlight and all is
One and whole falling
Into the gorge of splendid
Laughter of children in the warm summer.

You fill my heart with the grace
Of angels the faith to carry on
When all seems too difficult your face
Pushes me the desert is so cold
This life it propels me forward

And I find my way.

All worlds collide and once again
I am with you in the essence
Of the moon and golden stars

The promise of the night.

About
Humanity as a whole seems to be falling apart. We live in a world where people generally just don't care anymore. People always see the need for change, but never do anything about it; Change has to b.. more..
