The Suicide Note

The Suicide Note

A Poem by GuardianZack

Mankind, a robot, gagged and bound
Time is lost but never found
This world, where cruel intentions lie
My eyes are wet, my mouth is dry

Thrust into a shallow grave
Nothing but a puppet slave
My blood runs black, my sight goes white
Swallowed by the gaping night

A force unknown to clouded minds
The story of my life unwinds.

A tale of death, and nothing more
A used, forgotten, filthy w***e
Left to drown in his own ways
Until the very end of days.

A man? Perhaps. A creature, still-
Savage is the broken will.

Driven to that fatal edge
I plummet from an endless ledge
Cold is everything I know
Finding only fire below.

I melt into a thousand words
All are spoken, none are heard
And now, eternal rest doth come
A fear for most, yet sought by some.

Known is my forgotten face;

I take my leave now, wretched place!

About
Humanity as a whole seems to be falling apart. We live in a world where people generally just don't care anymore. People always see the need for change, but never do anything about it; Change has to b.. more..
