The Tavern

The Tavern

A Chapter by Guavaguy

Serving maids and drunken men
People from all walks of life
Coming here to lose their sorrows in ale.
But I cannot drink
I am here for a purpose
My destiny is at the door
I go to him
He reeks of mysticism
'Are you familiar with this signet?'
He is.
'Do now you know who it belongs to?'
He does
'Can you tell me who?'
He can.
'Well then, who?'
You know
Well that was no help at all...
Or was it?
You'll have to ponder this tommorow,
it's getting late.
