Dusk - Doors of Wisdom

Dusk - Doors of Wisdom

A Poem by Guavaguy
"

The doors of wisdom are never shut

"

Look upon ye foolish ones

For we have arrived at the gates of time,

Sing a merry song

For that night is soon to come

Dreams are illusions

Illusions are Dreams

We feel both as we drive from hell

Into the icy mountains of the dark

Yet I cannot help but think back to the Doors

Of Wisdom

Which never shut,

And all who go there become as a grain of sand

Amidst the storm

And they see themselves

From deserts of brown

To seas of green

The crypt of mankind

Lies within the dark sepulchre of eternity

Beyond the Doors of Night

But I forget myself…

Look upon ye foolish ones

For we have arrived at the gates of time

It’s too late to sing a merry song

For night has come again

And when you look upon the stars

Know only that the Doors of Night are shut behind us

Not unlike the Gates of Morning

Twilight forevermore…
