Perhaps, Giulia, blood red dominates a canvas depending on season and time. Plus, broken hearts have a tendency to spill or drip colour thus - spread further. Maybe that's why we bleed poetry when hurting?
Brilliantly brief.

sounds like good advice to me. this is the best - when we can take something bad and turn it into good. there is always a blank canvas ready for us to spill our paint. well done ... :)

Us, who love to write. We do create art from sadness. Read a Salinger book. A underlining of sadness. Thank you dear Giulia for sharing the amazing poetry.

Gee
So, so many do exactly that. Pain is a much better writing companion than happiness.
I like this :))
Good afternoon

You know that is such a wonderful and thoughtful idea! You do say quite a bit with so little words, not an easy task but you do it well.

From the shattered pieces of a broken heart, you can build the unbreakable spirit.

Oh wow! I love that line!
One of the best ways to get inspired is to have your heart broken, absolutely

I totally agree. Even though it hurts like hell. Thank you for reading my piece. x
This is one choice derived out of inner self

Indeed. The alternative is getting drunk, with the attendant hangover.

Amen to that (?)
Amen, Giulia....

that is our goal, we hope to create from the pain and leave some kind of imprint.
