"A love poem"

I was tempted to love him
even though others
said it was wrong...
I turned away
just to be brought back
from a song.

Out of the corner
of my eye
I caught his smile...
My hair covered my face
as I collected
thoughts worth while.

I lost all thoughts
as I looked
into his deep eyes...
Far away they took me
to the stars
in the night.

With big tough hands
he took mine
so gently...
a smoldering kiss
would seal our love
completely.

I can't fight it
I don't want too
I need him.
I won't fight it
I won't deny it
I love him.
