Tingles

Tingles

A Poem by Holly Mason

he was there
so were you
the time
has come,

leaning in
shuttering breath
heart beating
palms a mess
lips touch
sensations travel
tingles the mind
when a first kiss
is so brisk
opens the eyes
tingling lips
surprise, surprise

I'm always moved when a piece of writing has such power to it, yet is so simplistic in style. Absolutely love it

It's so hard to convey emotions into words, but you, my dear, do so magnificantly.
