Sorry...Forgive Me

Sorry...Forgive Me

A Poem by Holly Mason

Sorry I am not like you,
I apologize for not being able to reject a friend
I am not capable of blocking out, not looking
I am incapable of not caring...I apologize
I cannot in my soul turn away from anyone in pain
forgive me
I do not think that any thoughts given
deserve to be flushed and forgotten...I am sorry
I will not look at myself and see only me...forgive me
I do not think the world of myself
without others I would not know what feelings are
I come across softly with a light touch...I care
and I am sorry
If you can forgive me please do
for one day you will need a soft touch, a light whisper
and I will be there no matter what you have done to me
I would give my life for you even if me, you despise...I apologize
forgive me
I float, watching, I see so many things
some good, some bad
I do not judge...sorry,forgive me
I give advice quietly, kindly, without an angry tone...
please forgive me..I am sorry

I love how you arranged this. Parts of this sound ardent and forthcoming and then some parts seem to convey an overall sense of desperation. Kind of like holding someone's hand and not sure when to let go... I hope that makes some bit of sense to you. Thanks for the share.

this is so nice ,how i loved the feeling of this..
it may need a little more work on it,but i was thrilled
no i will always care ,your pains hurt me a lot, even not mine
i will look for you for a hundred miles afar
i will whisper softly and touch, even if uninvited
i would give a life a whole strength if you felt so weak
thats me i am proud, just could not sit on the outside
pretending i never cared..how could i..this is lovely

thank you fine sir truly
Very touching a delicate portrayal of one with a heavy heart and an open spirit. The many apologies show the guilt in the character's soul. Very deep piece. Well done.

Thank you very much
apologies abound*)
We cannot change our nature and should not do so. I also am ultra aware of the upset that can be caused by careless words. Don't feel sorry for being that way - it is the better way to be
