Cascading Fire

Cascading Fire

A Poem by Holly Mason

crescent wings of starlit desire
harboring soul of cascading fire
grace with presence of empathy
sounding loud in a forever sea
kiss the sender of patience time
holding close in a loving entwine
certain air will grasp the soul
letting go of which it knows
cascading fire of crystals desire
keep coveted small hearts, liar
strong winds soul, smacking distaste
knowing nothing, stampeding in haste
sea hears only an entrance of care
blissfully knowing in what it is aware
wings like tendrils, rush forward in wind
releasing, rehashing the fires within

This flows like water. Beautiful mountain water. And as the mountain water it is just as impressive. I had never read you before. I am about to remedy that.

time is patient, we have fires within...but strong winds rush the fires and we burn out...we need to tone it down to a gentle breeze...so we can hear the sea rather than the wind.

love this wording.
