Cell Phone Beast

Cell Phone Beast

A Poem by Holly Mason

cell phone beast
bloody, dirty, soul
two year contract
hit the road
new equipment
breaks in two days
now I have replacement
glaring ,I am amazed
the damn money I spent
all the time for repairs
another charge on my bill
of which I wasn't aware
I think we now pay
half of our mortage
now charge me for charging
no charging shortage
Oh wait now
the consumer has a question
another two year contract
gets the best affections
data gone over
well that is o.k.
it is not your money
for charging charges away
on hold
sit for awhile
paying our employees
not in our style
we fuss about banks
we fuss about each other
why not fuss about
signal drops
e-mail notifications
scratched screens
can't resell our equipment
unanswered questions
the infamous
replacement phones
or better yet...
not in stock
but we are charging you
to restock...phones!

never had one, and never will...these are perfect reasons why...

i'll stick to my land line..i don't need to be on my phone unless i am sitting comfortably in my chair conversing...

enjoyed this.

Can you hear me now? Holly, I know first hand the frustration of this subject and you are exactly correct. Nice one.
