Hands to Heart

Hands to Heart

A Poem by Holly Mason

Little steps, hic-up beat
promenading forceful feet

little toes, red ,red rose
softly staying, forever foes

little hands, hold the light
breathless whispers into the night

little chest, intake the air
breathing mist of only care

little fingers, dance of fire
clasping things of no desire

little, little, black walls fall
great big heart wins it all

Thank you fine Rose*)
I love the word play. Very interesting.
Indeed,

sometime poem
can mean a little
sometime more
yet
stimulus of words alone
can win some attention.

Reading your poem is a pleasurable way to spend this night. Thank you for sharing.
