it was a love poem,wasn't it?

tragedy happened today

it was a love poem, wasn't it

now a war write 

and I have succumbed, numb

social educate dashes away

reverie suspended 

it was a love poem, wasn't it

with no side to choose

fighting is for squares

because circles have no sides

a love triangle maybe

but that is between three

not the masses that disenagrate  

with so much hate

I was reading a beautiful poem

it was a love poem ,wasn't it?

war writings in a cave

left on a wall for all to find

to find and learn from

words meshed together

a circle of words with no sides

only eyes reading in wonderment

yes it was a love poem

until an edge was added

peaceful pieces of life

wrapped into a love poem

Ain't that always the way, this speaks volumes Holly....love/hate/war, they seem to mix and match so easily, but in a love poem, not so much. Nice one my friend.
