Hurt Me

Hurt Me

A Poem by HWard

“Poor the one you love into the sea,

Crash it till there’s nothing but the ground,

Nothing hurts anymore, even if you tell it to burn,

             Burn, burn, burn,

You want to be bigger than life,

As if life was something to be higher than,

Do what you want to my mind.

Hurt it right now,

There isn’t anything there to start with,

     Lies, lies, lies.

“Sink with the flow, weigh me down,

Fall for the type of mind that once hurt mine,

            Die for the bound,

                 Don’t you dare look back?

But back is where we are fine.

Hurt me, like you meant it,

But right now, it’s as if it was an accident.

You just hurt me

     Hurt me.”

GREAT emotion, I really like the line spacing, as well. Adds interest and effect. Good job! One correction, not sure if this was intentional but you used the word "poor" instead of "pour" as the first word. If this was unintentional you may want to fix that. Keep up the good work :)
