The Orchestra of Life

The Orchestra of Life

A Poem by Henrique Kasai

Saturday morning there was I hungover
sipping coffee on the sidewalk looking at the street
fast-paced people, businessman all over
the city noises echoed through my head

brighter and brighter, the giant light bulb rose
giving them hope and for me photo-phobia
birds chirping made me hungry of chicken meat
b******s couldn't be more annoying

Coincidence doesn't exist in this world
a devil-eyed woman won't pick you up
you won't have an epiphany that will change your life
nor you will find love when you smell like puke

I stood up, still dizzy and nauseated
searched my pockets for keys and wallet
started an Odyssey towards home
a sudden call: "Hey, wanna hang out tonight?"

About
Everything is devoured, from dusk to dawn I aimlessly write stuff, not a better word can replace stuff in such context. Because stuff will be devoured, eventually I as well, the point is, will I devou.. more..
