LIFE

Another poem by my Friend, Katelynn, we made the poem together. She did the begining but to me it was to short so i wrote more. Its a view on life.

LIFE AS WE KNOW IT:

Life is fleeting, it runs through our fingers like silk

But if we have a tight grasp on reality what hope do we have for possibilitys?

So hold on to that silk and not to tight to leave your mind open, for this is life as we know it.

Hm.. sometimes death can be a tragity,

sometimes it's an escape,

sometimes it's a scary thing,

and others it's a break

The blood that's spilled upon the ground,

the tears that's cryed in the rain,

the look of the smile as it fades,

Its something that is made.

Its all just life something we all can see,

something thats within you and me,

"death do us part"

is just some words,

make them reality and behold a great power,

the power of trust,

then, and only then do you deserve the life that was given to you.

Death was the secret,

the power of the dark

the message that was given but not that smart,

plenty were killed, few survived

trust is something like a dart,

its sharp and will always be special

There's some power imagery in this piece, some very dark, painful imagery. But I like the conclusion you draw at the end. Most people say that life is about the pursuit of love or happiness, but I like that for you, trust is more important. I've thoroughly enjoyed this piece.
