Mushrooms in the Sky

Mushrooms in the Sky

A Poem by (JR) Joshua Hernandez
"

A short poem I had to do 9th grade year of High-school, it was inspired by the Owl City song "Cave In"

"
A cold foggy winters day,
Becomes a hot and humid May,
Where flowers grow,
Is now death row.
Magnificent buildings, proving man's feats,
Now crumble and fall to the streets,
Where every creature's breath,
Is now a cloud of death.
Where birds fly,
Are Mushrooms in the sky.

Hey! Thanks for reading my poem! It's sort of the start of all "this." (Points to writerscafe) I had fun writing it in the day so a friend and I continued writing and found this site! I hope you enjoyed it, I may revise it for funs sake but at the moment, I'm packing for my fifth and final year of college (ha! I made this my first year of highschool! The irony!) Anyway, leave comments and critiques if you like!
See ya planetside!
