Time Longing to Fall

Time Longing to Fall

A Poem by Hangtough
"

Just a pastoral/autumn poem I wrote up one day. I was thinking of childhood memories and the autumn is a time that I can still remember.

"

The scenes are changing colors

Air freshens to forgotten summers

The harvest moon gazes upon golden fields

Trees become bare of their yields

Thoughts stall to the memories of time

When I was younger and free of all crime

Now all is if I had just dreamed

Things are not which once they seemed

While once gazing upon golden fields

Feeling the coolness of the air that healed

Remembering the trees that fell bare

How I long and wish that I could be there
