Messenger Moon

Messenger Moon

A Poem by Boldpen
"

This is for my friends who are now far away, those who I might never meet again.

"

Today, this night, I’m alone.

Counting every day and date

And my friend, far away

Due to what we term as fate

And I miss the holy presence

For me which stood as a boon

Same would be at the other end

So, please, dear messenger moon.

Give them strength, give them smile

Tell them that it won’t be long

Whenever you meet those eyes

For whom I write this silent song

Let your light sing the rhyme,

Of lovely dreams and bright hope

Let twinkling stars be lucky charms

For their patience and will to cope

Let them have no glance of fear

For I am with them, everywhere

Let them know, miles don’t count

When common link of soul is shared

Give them love, give them laugh,

Tell them that it won’t be long,

Whenever you meet those eyes

To whom this lonely heart belongs.

Boldpen
I often wonder while looking at moon, that my friends would also see him. I hope he'll pass on my message.
Apologies for grammar.
