No Man's Land

No Man's Land

A Poem by Boldpen
"

An talk of someone I never thought would speak....

"

What am I? What should I say?

I am part of a scary trend

The games on me the mankind plays

Though I am called The NO MAN’S LAND.

Fear crawls in every step

That falls on this bloody soil

No cheers, No laugh, No pep

Itself the peace on me toil

Suspicion, anxiety, pain

in every breath that I find near

Other lands are filled with rain

but here, I am drained with tears

No home, No care here will be

wounded by dynamite’s scars

No smile, No love you will see

Struck by the act of mars

I am a sacrificial plate

How many souls I consume!

No victory, No defeat great

have altered my state of doom

A son here gave up the life

I took away someone’s brother

I made a widow of a wife

Friends who never saw each other

On my sight, the humanity weeps

To get this, what have I done?

The violence over my chest sleeps

Do people get it? Anyone?

So, What am I? What should I say?

I lay in a state of strand

Destroy me now! Here I pray!

for I am a NO MAN’S LAND

I apologies for grammar errors.... Thanks for giving it the time and mind.
