I Sit on a Line

I Sit on a Line

A Poem by Jared Michael Smith
"

My thoughts on my position in social interaction.

"
I sit on a line,
A line quite defined,
With neither side mine,
Neither side mine.

And I sit quite alone,
Too alone to bemoan,
But crying I roam,
Crying I roam.

Now listen do I,
To the sounds and the sighs,
And the faltering cries,
The faltering cries.

And I wonder out loud,
How to help the poor crowd,
To dispel the dark cloud,
Dispel the dark cloud.

But then they reject me,
And I retreat to my lonely,
And sad bitter envy,
Sad bitter envy.

I sit on a line,
A line quite defined,
But neither side mine,
Neither side mine.

Flow and coherence are my biggest concerns with this one. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! :)

I really enjoyed your writing. I love the repetition in it and I think it has a meaning behind that everyone can relate to. All in all, I think it has a nice pattern and flow to it!

I'm a pretty mild-mannered guy who enjoys composing poetry, playing video games, and drawing portraits. I don't think my writing's that good, but some of the people I have had read tell me otherwise... more..
