Sisters for life

Sisters for life

A Poem by Savannah Gossett

Sisters by blood

Same mother same father

It didn’t feel like that sometimes

Sometimes they fought

They fought so bad

It drove their parents crazy

It also drove them crazy

And apart

Once they got older

It got better

They still fought

But it was better

Once they found that something

That something that linked them together

They were irrepressible

There parents were proud

And they were proud

To have a relationship that they

And only they could have

Even though they were sisters by blood

They feel as if they are best friends

That is not connected by blood

They are thankful for each other

But most of all they love each other

Unconditionally

A wonderful poem for your sister dear Savannah. I had 11 brothers and sisters. We learn later in life. We need each other and we are kinder to each other.
