Haunted

Haunted

A Poem by Hardcore Charles
"

Doubt. It'll drive you mad.

"
Shadows lurk,
whispers are seen through the murk,
when the air turns to ice,
and there is only vice,
a day shall be haunted,
by those who could not be seen.
They mock and laugh,
at every move you make,
they see your reflection,
as misshapen as can be,
haunting is what they do,
it might be too late for you.
The voices that just won't go away,
from dawn to dusk they stay,
they are your worst nightmare,
and until you realize,
who they really are,
doubt will haunt you evermore.

I am 18 years old and I have a lot on my mind. Also any poetry I post does not have to be taken a certain way. Poetry to me is how the reader interprets the words even if the writer had something else.. more..
