Calm

Calm

A Poem by Hardcore Charles

Find your special place,
the place where,
no deceit may reside,
concentrate that anger,
and despise the laughter,
that surrounds like a snake,
as you know they bite,
leaving your head,
to swell up,
torment mistaken for ego,
as the rats run beneath your feet,
a giant to them,
that does not breath;
a glass heart,
one so spotless,
it cannot be seen,
only others that hold,
the hammer,
to stop the rise,
of the intentional,
heat, heat, heat,
burn, burn, burn,
it's not passion,
it's blood boiling,
on the pot, due the cook,
who's title is the butcher,
his apron says keep calm,
for it's all over soon,
besides that I ended,
all too soon,
excuse me,
I forgot to say goodbye.

About
I am 18 years old and I have a lot on my mind. Also any poetry I post does not have to be taken a certain way. Poetry to me is how the reader interprets the words even if the writer had something else.. more..
