A Poem by Hardcore Charles

We all know,
that glossy stare,
you've gone so low,
to freeze the air,
to cover shadows,
with a toxic haze,
and forget your a widow,
before love had it's phase.

Don't forget what you owe,
remember how,
the sun never settled,
with the final vow,
you lost one child,
it's all everyone has,
a life with peace so mild,
humanity no more as,
it should never be,
betrayal at last,
you lost the key,
to only the past,
it makes you, no longer real.

About
I am 18 years old and I have a lot on my mind. Also any poetry I post does not have to be taken a certain way. Poetry to me is how the reader interprets the words even if the writer had something else.. more..
