-Lawliet- *Into nothingness*

**SPOILER ALERT FOR DEATHNOTE** Lawliet turns into Beyond Birthday! Light gets a fake deathnote! Ryuk brings Rem back to life! (All not in the real Anime, this is ALL fanfictions.

This place- full of the dead - wasnts meant to exist. The shinigami who occupied the deathnote used by Light Yagami was in the world of the living- and I was tempted to follow him. At first I had no idea where I was, since I touched the deathnote I could niether go to heaven or hell, just nothingness. I had died before I could reaveal that Light was Kira. I had been in the world of nothingness for a total of 23 years, but I was still 20 years old. I would never age, just stay here forever for no reason whatsoever. I had thought about wandering around, but I would be terried at my finds. After all, nothingness was petrifying. I always had a longing for my sweet sugar, but I had no reason to eat it now. You couldnt die, because you were dead, but you could feel the hunger and thirst of people dying. It was like a stench of something you couldnt control. I am Lawliet Ryuuzaki, 20 forever, longing for the voice of someone rather than myself.

NEAR

"There is no room left for imagination. No place left for L to gain additional knowledge or abilities. Do you know what that means? For people like me and L, It is out job to create things more wonderful than anything before them, but never to obtain perfection." Near explained, watching Matsuda carefully. Nears breathing had returned to normal, but he still felt cold and weak. Matsuda placed a small Letter beside Near and sighed,

"Its from Hitome..."

Near slowly picked up the letter and read it.

If i had to choose between loving you and breathing...

I would use my last breath to say i love you

Near... I love you. Dont ever forget that. Ever.

If you would think that im gone

If you could even the thought cross your mind

Does that mean you dont love me?

Its alright if you dont
