Water

Water

A Poem by Heavran
"

A description of anger.

"

Water

Anger is not like fire,

There is no burn inside your ire,

A hold in heat, you may keep your feet,

But the result is nothing like dire.

Water is the element of fury,

Cold, heavy, and uncontrollable,

No matter your strength, you will not win,

Your actions are surely inevitable.

Bottle it up,

Stow it away,

Your failure abrupt,

You begin to pray.

The dam you create,

Will break down,

This is your fate,

In rage you will drown,

They will fall before you,

Yet will hear no sound.

The flood abates,

You stand amazed,

A scene of destruction,

Bleeding, your dazed.

Its over for you,

Your life is ended,

A model unglued,

Your spirit decended.

Broken and defeated,

Your penance conceded,

Burning in hell,

Though you begged and pleaded.

Bottle it up,

Stow it away,

Your failure abrupt,

You begin to pray.

The dam you create,

Will break down,

This is your fate,

In sadness you will drown,

You have fallen before them,

Yet will make no sound.

Intense. I love it!
I definitely like how you chose water as the element of rage and anger...normally people do compare anger to fire, but I like your take on it much better. Water /does/ seem more angry. Especially when there is sadness fueling the anger, or mixed in with the anger in some way.
Again, beautiful write.
Keep up the amazing work -- I love reading your pieces. (:
