A Poem by HeidiMarie Mackey

I trap myself in a invisible box of walls.
Letting my mind rage until the teardrops fall.
Torturing my identity and questioning whats right.
For hours im a prisoner until the morning light.
Testing the waters of my faith and my honesty.
Cant just leave it alone just cant let it be.
My mind is a dungeon only i get to go.
Bits and pieces may be shared the rest is for me alone.
A Fragile foundation that at any moment can crash.
A lifetime of sadness wrapped in a shell of my tortured past.
I can end it all and cut the ties that bind.
But then the demons win the game played within my mind!

Few people show real face.
"My mind is a dungeon only i get to go.
Bits and pieces may be shared the rest is for me alone. "
The above lines are true place for the most of us. No-one see my real face. Maybe fear of showing real desires. Thank you Heidi for sharing the excellent poetry.

Gee
I absolve you of all sins as none of us are beyond reproach. I for one wouldn't throw stones as the barrage that came back would totally destroy my glass house. I enjoy your writing ma'am
