Poetic Words

Lovers don't finally meet somewhere they're in each other all along
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
The moon is within me, and so is the sun
I love thee with the love I seem to lose with my lost saints
You have touched me with the frenzy of poetry
And the songs of every poet past and forever ~

You said everything needed in the short poetry.
"The moon is within me, and so is the sun
I love thee with the love I seem to lose with my lost saints"
The above lines. So honest, so beautiful. Thank you dear Helena for sharing the amazing poetry.

you put these lines together rather cleverly to make the six sound like one voice.

Your words remind me especially of Rumi. They contain beauty, philosophy and spirituality. I was also moved by the pictures of Shelley, Byron and Keats. All wrote beautiful love poetry and all died young. Thanks for this very nice offering.

Thank you kindly for reading and leaving a lovely review. ~ Helena
Love is not always blatant, and sometimes needs the help of poetry to convey those thoughts without being too obvious. The romance of poets' words having survived for so long is surely proof of this.

Wow! What an amazing collection of words. The muse Erato is clear in your expression. A tribute to those who have tapped into the muse of poetry that was inspired by the muse herself.

Many thanks for reading and leaving a great review.
Kind regards ~ Helena ~
I love the Romantics. Prolly why I'm a poet (and Poe).

I think my first essay I chose to write about in HS was on Byron.
But I soon discovered Shelly and the immortal Keats.
I guess I was emo before emo

Good tribute.

And the additional list is nice too. Have to read some more Rumi.
