Alive Again

Alive Again

A Poem by Herzeleid
"

Brother Sun, Sister Moon.

"

Pools of light cast down from above
filter out the lingering darkness.
Taken by surprise, my restless soul.
Shedding pale moonlight.

Mirroring light from the other half.
Glittering greatness blazing above.
Still in the declining light,
but ever fading as I move on.

Hiding in my own shadow,
waiting for my speckled sky.
When darkened dreams fill the mind,
when peppered stardust glazes the night

Burning brother rolls back down
over the hills, fading fast.
Drawing back a sweltering curtain,
and pulling back sunny tipped fingers.

Now my dominion is clear ahead.
Still taking my brother's helping hand.
Shine back cold light to another eye.
Breathe frosty breath upon the earth.

Held within my depths, a sentimental core.
As I weave a tapestry across the sky,
the dreamer's curious eye turns up ahead.
Where romantics hold dreams in the spotted night.

The sunny rooster crows his melody,
and my shadow folds over me again.
Brooding silently, taking last breaths,
before I am consumed and cease.

I do not despair nor shed one tear.
The world is in my brother's hands.
I fade away, cold and dormant,
but I know I'll be alive again.

This poem is more recent, maybe being about 2 years old. Still not going to change it much. Just want an honest opinion.
