Yesterday I just so happened to embrace the sun

and its heat against my summer skin.

Forget sunscreen when you can get burned instead.

I wanted to be free to love 
and be who I've always wanted to be 
even if my skin turns crimson red.
It'll make me darker and stronger anyway.

Love is a risk
and the way I've always felt about you is unavoidable.
I can only stay in the shade so long
before I long for the sun again!

What a lovesick fool I've become!

Even the way your eyes speak a thousand words,
mesmerizes my soul with a depth I've hoped for.

Every kind of story marks your life,
And I want to hear and know everyone of them.

Ah if only I could simply tell you how I feel!
All these words continue to collide in my mind;
Fighting with each other,
And yet my mouth can't seem to butt in.

I adore you,
Is all I can say in the simplest observation of your existence. 
Your beautiful spirit changes everything it comes in contact with,
And it has definitely changed me!
I want all of your junk,
And the the most painful parts of your being.

God knew what He was doing when He created you,

And the authenticity that the world needed that only you could bring.

As one says, "Come on darling, lets be adventurers!",
Simply knowing you has been an adventurous destination.

You are an experience worth experiencing,
and I love you sweet one.

Of course poets know the doors of someone's soul,
Especially if they're open.
But how come when it comes to you,
There's no doors,
With a sign of invitation calling my unique name?
All I can do is walk in.
Here I go.
A life of love is risk,
Right?

So whenever this intricate sun comes out again,
The freedom of soaking in its rays,
Will be second nature.
I'm not afraid anymore.
