Since you left

Since you left

A Poem by Hercules94
"

I miss her, maybe I'll always do, maybe it's just a sign from above that I am what I am just because of you

"
Her hatred is what I think of,
That grudge is what pays off,
Those lips looked beautiful even when
She ordered to kick me off;

Those nails will always be imprinted on
Where sometimes she used to kiss,
The eyes that once adored me,
Now can't even look at me straight on;

Maybe somewhere the mistake is mine,
I shouldn't have gotten on her spine,
Maybe I am what is wrong in the world
And it would be better place without me;

For me it ended when she left,
For her it hadn't even started yet;
Maybe I think way too much of her,
Maybe we shouldn't have ever met;

Everyday I dream of her,
But when I wake up she isn't there anymore;
Maybe she left me because I cared too much,
Or maybe because she didn't care at all;

I have read Oscar Wild saying "hearts are made to be broken" but broken hearts bring pain. The same emotion you have brought in you poem. And also as Pablo Neruda puts it," Love is so short, forgetting is so long."
Keep on writing.

Thanks. It really means alot
Nicely expressed. After all, how can you hate someone whom you loved with all your heart.

Enjoyed reading your poem.
