Fairytales

This Poem is One of the most meaningful ones I’ve ever written. One reason being, that I didn’t write it alone. I wrote it with someone that I still hold close to my heart. Through the distance and resistance these feelings are still seeping through me. I can never turn or deny what I feel for you, and though Its been painful words dispelled, the words that flow through me still find inspirations for you, I can’t let go of the fantasy until it’s reality…. This one is for you.

 

 Fairytales or Reality

 

 

                              Clutched onto the mere fantasy, Afraid if I let go, I may lose my reality

 

Battle tested been thru the pain & agony but will continue to fight for who I believe is half of me

 

               Yet still there is distance too far for bars to connect, So my heart is caged to the affect that this may be the best yet

 

Slowly becoming stressed ,at the thought of having to lay my dream of us to rest.

 

                      Is having half of you only digging a hole for us to be whole? Will we be a fairytale or a story? Or will there be a story of ours to be told?

 

Questions of us I have that never grow old, our seasonal love will either endure the winter or like the outside wind, our hearts will grow cold.

A emotive write, Honey...can a long distance relationship work? It depends on the couple and if needs are met. A really tough question. :)
