Dream

Dream

A Poem by Hyphenated

Was it just an illusion?
The contented smile ruled over your painted smile?
All the butterflies
I felt inside my belly?
May be it was a dream,
That evening.

Still...
I'm wondering.
Why this stillness?
Thoughts together when eyes closed.
Strangers when eyes meet.

May be just a dream,
That fades in daytime
When our eyes do blink.

This is the world of an artist. You feel and see things, that others cannot. Whether it's an illusion or not, what matters most is the wonders it brings.
