Fame

Why we want it

There is something stronger than flesh,
It's more powerful than will.
It endures much longer,
And it's more difficult to kill.

A path to Immortality,
Or at least the closest thing.
Do something to earn it,
And your praises they will sing.

Without other humans,
Do I even exist?
But with me in their minds,
Can my soul persist?
