The Human Way

Where are we heading?

Do you really have the commitment,
To jump into your own grave?
There's a difference between freedom,
And just being your own slave.

Would you stand tall,
Or would you cower?
The secret no one mentions,
Only the weak need power.

Maintain your facade of order,
Letting the chaos around you be,
While refusing to admit,
Honour comes after necessity.

Ascend further and further,
Raise your towers tall,
But the higher our buildings,
The further we have to fall.

I liked this, poem, especially the last two lines. I think it sums things up pretty well. :)
