A Saturated World

A Saturated World

A Poem by Tobi
"

True fame is even harder to attain now

"

In a world saturated with souls,
My skills I vainly hone.
We thrived as we were meant to,
And now we can never be alone.

An army of pilgrims,
March in unison with me,
All on the same quest,
Forever seeking immortality.

Seven billion voices.
One can't be heard above the shouting.
We've all made our own choices,
But our success I am doubting.

Exponential competition,
May benefit the sphere,
While individuals suffer.
To fade away is what I most fear.

You must now climb even higher,
To be known above the crowd.
Your greatest wish is to be heard,
But the humans below are too loud.
