As If It Belonged

As If It Belonged

A Poem by ICE

Midnight sky falls

Rain

Icy

As the harsh drops

Coat my skin

Sinking in

As if it belonged

There all along.

The right always right sky

Sings

As rain

In big hard drops

Cleanse the

Revolving grounds

So afraid to let

Go.

this is a great poem. I can picture a 36 degree day with rain falling from the sky at night.

Very nicely done. I got the feel of falling rain as I read it. It seemed as if there was a hint of playfulness in it too. Great job.
