Meaning

A Poem by Idyllwyld
"

A poem on the mind's ability to bestow and create meaning, man's one true artifice.

"
You are my craving and my addition
Without you, I cannot find my way.
Your vice gives me purpose
with which I can control the world.

You are my birthright
my distinction, my one true power.
I see you in everything,
and in everyone. I can't
not find you in life.

I find you where you shouldn't
and mount you in new places.
I raise mountains to your glory
from even the littlest moles.

You are my flag. You are my art.
With you, everything is mine.

I shalln't give you up,
not without losing.
Not without giving,
everything that is me.

Author's Note

Idyllwyld
I usually proofread my works, however as always I'm sure there are typos and syntax errors. I appreciate any and all notices of that, and will work to correct those. If I haven't do know that I did acknowledge your notice and try implementing it, but found that it detracted from the effect I wanted and so omitted it.
