Osmosis

Osmosis

A Poem by Scott Christian
"

Another poem I wrote for a woman I'm in love with.

"

 i dreamt of you
 last night in sleep
where existed our hands
  our arms and minds

we sat in silence and look'd
upon one anoth'r
  nary a word spoken
 we talked with our fingertips

yours sought mine in the

   dim light

   i reciprocated
and our bodies appeared
 your tips traced the contours
of my back

    my skin tingled as
  passionate osmosis embraced
the lines of your identity
  and you held me down

i was not wont to move for

   your fingertips smiled

 the room
it hummed around us
and every so often we were
bathed in light

 when you wrapped your
arms around me
  the room illuminated

a lighthouse
