Medium

Even those of us with golden fingers would sometimes like to be more forward.

 It could be said through flowery prose
or cliché about heav'n and the stars
  It could be waxed poetically
through the medium of metaphor;
 soft spoken words to melt your shell
It could be hinted at through allegory
 or in the rhythm of a pulsating beat
   Or one could skip the bullshit and simply say

I love you

 

    And I do.
