Coffee Lovers

Coffee Lovers

A Poem by The Ink Chapters
"

Cute little poem for a smile

"
Oh coffee is the greatest taste
The darker roast or sweeter make
The energy it stirs inside
The guts it cleans
The bags it hides

Oh coffee as I start my morn
To alleviate the feels of worn
The bitter bean, the rolling steam
A coffee to simply pass the time
Or coffee made to soothe the mind

A shared pot between lost friends
Or simply family that may repent
By boiling water in a way
To bring you home, for just a day

A way to bring some sanctity
Good for stress or worry free
Care to meet up for a chat?
Of course add coffee.
I’m there for that

In my household we have two coffee addicts. They can't get going without a double shot of caffeine. They swear by it. It's too strong for me, I stay well away preferring tea every time. My two experiment with all different types. Now coffee cake, yes I'll have a slice of that no problem. This poem reminds me that coffee seems to have overtaken tea in the popularity stakes. All good wishes.
