Take an introspective look.

Looking into a pool

As clear as glass

Seeing a fool

Whose love has passed

She is beautiful

In and out

Her soft lips embraced

Without a doubt

She held your hand

Gazed in your eyes

What an idiot you were

To think you were her prize

You look at yourself now

In clear thought,

And realize she used you

Now it's him she's got

*

She used you

To make him jealous

How crazy a love

From someone so zealous

*

To use you

For their own gain

Like a knife

Stabbing for pain

*

She was unfaithful...

Or maybe she wasn't

She didn't love you

It was him she was after

*

You stare at yourself

In the reflecting pool

Thinking of what

You were to her

A second choice?

A tool?

A lonely voice?

A fool?

*

You look into the water

Ready to drown

Ready for slaughter
