Survival Instinct

Survival Instinct

A Poem by Brandon Wile

Anger held

Secrets kept

Sacred words

Of pure regret

Emotions bound

In self defeat

Defend yourself

By breaking free

A healing heart

Picks up the pace

When your feet

Are stuck in place
