Secrets Stay Behind

Secrets Stay Behind

A Poem by Inner Rain

Creatures scuttle about, jump about
The wind is blowing through the trees
The cold gives me nothing but doubt
It is more a gale than a gentle breeze

When will the snows come?
Must the weather prolong my wait?
A violin song is all i can hum
No words to eat upon my plate

There is no rain, no storm
No ice and yet no warm fervor
Icy cold fingers, a heart at war
With the world and love's gardener

The flowers all wilt and the branches bare
The bushes tremble; in my heart a scare

Wonderful word-crafting! Your ideas and feelings rose easily from the words. Bravo!

I would rather feel pain than feel nothing at all. The world can jade someone gets to use to the heart break and become immune to it.
