Strained

Strained

A Poem by Jenna
"

Mental Breakdown Poem

"

Pieces slowly break away.
Adding warped pieces where the old ones lay.

An empty shell, a soul , grated strained.
A beating organ , grief soaked stained.

Memories play like a ballad in a chambered mind.
A walking nothing with pains undefined.

Scars etched on a skin of dead.
Just a reminder of life force that once bled

This holds such pain, of a life once lives. Maybe actually physically or emotionally now dead. I loved it keep up the good work. :)

I love your mastery of short form poetry. The brevity is mighty in its usage. I love the feelings and emotions used, the imagery is effective. great job..
