Angel Eyes

Angel Eyes

A Poem by Jenna
"

Guardian Angels Watching everywhere

"

She watches you with her ethereal eyes.

Wings downcast, face etched with wrinkles of wise.

Her hair, a safe nest, falls to her waist.

She stands nurturing, arms open to be embraced.

Like a loving mother, never leaving your side.

Wings to brush your stained cheeks, from the tears you've cried.

Soothing your woes, with her musical voice.

Her vocal chords in itself is a song to rejoice.

Forevermore bathed in her halo's golden glow.

Watching, until your skin withers and blood refrains to flow.

Something I came up with when thinking about how I must have someone watching over me because good things have been happening, its like a dedication.

I'm sure they're all around us somehow. I think we all have our own interpretations of what they look like from what we've seen in paintings and such. I like your description and find it a real nice dedication to the one that watches over you. We'll see them someday I'm sure.

It's a nice poem and nice thinking. I can relate to it.

interesting write.. the feelings are well expressed and the concept is a curiously intriguing one.. brevity is also effective here, a controlled digression..

I am certain I have a guardian angel or i wouldn't be alive today... a really wonderfully uplifting piece of writing.

I like the flow of it... and the imagery ...although the end ("...until your skin withers and blood refrains to flow.") did not have a pleasant image :( the overall piece was good.
