Regretting Death

Regretting Death

A Poem by InsanityIsBeautiful

Dancing to the sound of the rain.
Tears rolling down her face.
She puts on the song he played for her.
Her heart beats at a steady pace.
He's been long gone.
Seems like a life time ago.
All she wants is for him to come back.
This pain she doesn't dare show.
She wants to start over.
Wishing time could turn back.
She can never forgive herself.
Its this she will always lack.
He's dead and gone.
Nothing can change this.
He took a piece of her heart,
This she will forever miss.

Every life lost, takes a bit of ourselves with them.
Which resonates from the grave with idle memories such as shared songs and other sentiments.

Awesome piece.
