Time

Time

A Poem by Mark
"

We are immersed and can't really grasp what Time is

"

Time is a valley deep, potted, and grooved

Caught in the glacier above,we  grind along involuntarily.

Wide and bright, all encompassing

We are blinded to all but the choices we make.

The moment is a wave cresting

I'm sliding face down,

Then falling into the next

and the next.

Make a choice and slide by the rest

pick out the moment each time

you have to decide.

All other potential moves away,

out of sight

Moving off into different worlds,

lost possibilities, yet existing sideways away.

Time is potentials and possibilities

frozen only in the present,

waves of spreading time

the only rules should be

enjoy the moment and

help others get free.

Time isn't much use, save for regimenting us 9 to 5. Nature marches to the beat of a different drum; the tick tock of the seasons being all that matters.

We should take a page out of Mother Nature's book, she knows best I feel.

'Potentials and possibilities, the only rules enjoy the moment and help others to freedom.' I like those aspects.

Beccy.
